You know, there are several problems here. The moment Gin sets foot into Ankh- Morpork, Foule Old Ron will show up behind him, muttering and examine his long blond hair of evil, while his stench begs for some money. I bet Gin will never, never set a foot into the city again.

Vermouth will probably directly thrown into the scorpion pit for constantly dressing up as somebody else, and this will go against the rule of "No mimes/street theatre in Ankh-Morpork".

... and then, of course, there's the Patrician. Maybe he won't do anything against the Black Ops directly, but he will send the Assassins and Thieves Guild after them, as well as the Watch. And when they are brought before him, he'll be very ironic about the affair.

Okay, seriously? PLEASE write that crossover. Pleasepleaseplease. I'd love you forever. *__*

Actually, I doubt there would be any need for the Patrician to actually sic the Assassins and Thieves Guilds onto the Black Org.

It'd fall under the heading of "What part of monopoly do you not understand?"

Remember, neither guild is particularly fond of free-lancers, even though the Assassins are known to ignore the (very) low-level competition.

And let us not forget the trolls who have got their own mafia set up and almost certainly will take just as dim a view of competition as the guilds, and would thus cover everything not included by 'stealing' and 'assassination.'

Random murders of non-important people might be safe; the thugs seem to still lack their own guild.

You're right of course, but I tried to take Teh Ebilness of the Black Ops into account. They wouldn't go down without a fight, and they'd certainly cause some casualities... sooner or later, some of them guild bosses would turn up before Vetinari to complain. ;)
