I've been slack again. Coronation is next week. And our Barony owes the King a Penguin Tax because we won the war at Rowany Festival. Something about winning the Great White Lands to the South (ie: Antarctica), I think. *scratches head* *can't remember*

So, if people are willing, Please Describe What a Penguin Looks Like Without Using The Word 'Bird'. Any kind of penguin.

Because a penguin lives in water, so it obviously must be a fish, not a bird, right? Right. ^___^

-Like last time, I'll draw the resulting creature based off of the descriptions given.

Thanks!

Its a chubby midget in a tuxedo!

Yes actually I beleive it qualifies as a fish, since beaver qualifies as seafood :-)

"Blac end wyte cretur only 2 feet hye. Wyth webed feet and stunted arms. It is a good swimmer and eats many fishes. The males birth the young (as they may not have seen the males laying on the egg only the chick once it's hatched)

Penguin-- Black and white almost fish-like creature with a beak, webbed feet, and almost flipper-like wings instead of fins.

An ugly, portly man with really bad teeth who lives in the sewers beneath Gotham City because his parents got freaked out and dumped him. He eats fish and occasionally tries to destroy Batman.

A bottle shaped beast that lives in the waters of the ocean, except at night when it goes on land to sleep standing up.

The head end ends in a black, red or yellow claw shaped beak/mouth, usually pointed towards the sky when on land and awake. The body is black except on what may be called the belly, which is white and fluffy. The eyes, black as well, are small and beady.
It's black tail is flat like the dolphin's, but smaller, and hides two webbed feet with three toes each. It's flipper-like fins are wide and slim when stretched.

The head is sometimes decorated with white or yellow scales.

This wondrous creature seems to delight in slides made of snow and ice, and is a speedy swimmer and hunter of fish. It is also able to squawk loudly, unlike most fish we know of.

Waddle, waddle, waddle, slip and slide, I have no claws to dig into the ice. On ice I have to be in order to nest, spawn and raise more of me. I want to break free but not into the air, my wings cannot take me there. Dive off the edge, dressed to fit into a high society do, I gladly enter the sea. I am a star here, full of grace and speed, swimming fast and with the greatest of ease with the equipment bred into me: webbed feet, oiled feathers, tail and those wings can now flap easily. I am protected from enemies below with my white belly and from above with my black suit. I hunt my prey and find some time to play.

This flightless avian standing around three feet tall, it swims through water using its wings as flippers. It has an oblong body, webbed feet. The coloring is black to a black gray color on the back of the animal (including the whole wing and feet) with front of the body being white. The head is black with striking orange marks on the neck on either side of the spine. Each one being under where the ear would be located on a mammal. The eyes reside on the same level as the upper beak. The upper beak is black and the lower one orange. Where the white would be on the front neck is the same striking orange that is on the back of the neck. It fades into white the further down on the neck. All of the feathers on this avian are oily which help protect it from the harsh environment it lives and swims in. Normally, it eats fish but will also consume squid, krill and other crustaceans. It 'waddles' around on its feet but also will slid along its stomach using its feet to propel it (when it is icy).

Umm, I think I over killed on the description of the King Penguin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Penguin). ^^; Better watch out for them, they eat squid! XD

The penguin is a strange creature. Coloured black down it's back and along the sides, and having a bright white belly and throat. It has a yellow collar around the back half of it's neck. It appears to have soft, furlkike feathers, gathered tightly in a waterproof shell all over it's body, and seeming from a distance to be of a piece, like a seal skin. When standing it reaches 3feet in height. It's body is shaped like a tall, round sack, tapering towards the head. It has a straight, black beak, with a small hook at it's tip. Small black eyes set on either side of the head, and no visible ears. It stands on two black webbed feet which protrude from under it's base on very short stumpy legs, barely visible. The tail is a small fin shaped thing about 2 inches long that protrudes back in a narrow fan from the base, and rests on the ground. It has two long, narrow, fin like arms, resembling plucked chiken wings held straight, with rounded tips, which extend from it's sides just above half way on the body, and reach down to perhaps 3 inches above the feet. The bottom surface of these is white, and the top black. Whilst the creature is on land these appear to serve no purpose save to flap about. It is an unstable creature, moving only at a slow waddle, and it occasionally falls flat and slides along the ice on it's belly, propelling itself with it's feet. It appears to spend a large portion of it's life in the water, where it uses it's arms to swim with great speed, and it leaps back to land like a fish and slides on it's belly for a time before standing.

The Penguin is a quadruped which lives in big rivers like the Amazon. It has two ears, a heart, a forehead, and a beak for eating honey. But it is provided with fins for swimming. Penguins are larger than frogs. Penguins are dangerous, so if you see one where people are swimming, you shout "Look out, there are Penguins!"
