Late Night Ponderigs

ickaimp*streaches* Right, so I should be ficcing. Got plenty of silence (aside from the Placebo in the background), peace and nothing to interuppt my thought process...
And we're looking up various stuff on Wikipedia instead. Bah.
Started out looking up pack heirarchy for Guard Dog (those who don't know me on chat may not realise this, but we do insane amounts of research for ficcage, reguardless if we need/use it or not, simply cause it's fun) and some how got into animal communication, animal sexuality, a longer list than expected of animals showing homosexual tendancies and then of course, human sexual orientation. (Never gonna be able to look at Egyptian mythology the same way after reading about Ra creating Shu and Temfut by giving himself a blow job)
Which actually was a highly fastinating read. Pretty much always considered myself asexual (having almost no sex drive to speak of), but I'm probably closer to pansexual than anything else. Still about a 1.5 on the Kinsey Scale, although not entirely sure about the Klein Scale, cause it doesn't include tentacles. (joking! ...maybe.).
Reading about the 'third gender' was also pretty interesting, especially throughout the various cultures and history. The story of Rama heading into exhile and realising that his village was following him and telling them "Men and womem, turn back" and the people who were neither being confused and therefore waiting for him until he returned and were blessed for it was espeically amusing. ('Amusing' isn't the right word, because it denotes a feeling of not taking it seriously when I am, but can't think of a better word at the moment...)
Note to self, need to do more reading about Hinduism and Buddism, they've got neat stories. (once again, not right word... dammit, where is my mental thesuraus? swear, we're being blond again...)
And Neechan? The next time you say you can't figure things out, I'm sending you wikipedia links. Then you can figure it out (with pictures!) to your heart's content.
Also... 192 people are now offically stalking us. Which is, well, a serious yipe. I can't keep track of it anymore. WE'RE NOT THAT INTERESTING. REALLY.
But a severe number of people adding me lately know us in RL, as opposed to fandom, which is why I started this LJ.
So. Thinking about spiltting the LJ again, doing one soley (that's not spelled correctly, is it?) for fics and one for fandom rambles and RL stuff. Because if we tried splitting it fandom and fics on one and RL stuff on the other... the RL one would never get updated... *points to the capslock sentance above.*
And would you believe we're shy? ^__^;; No, really.
Anyway, if we did that, could insert the fic journal on Mischif's writing page and then people who just wanted the fic could go there and not have to worry about reading our rambles. *points to capslock sentance again*
Still would have to think up a name for ficcage LJ... 'ickafic'? 'impfic'? 'ms_chif'? o_O blah. Eh, something.
Must go torture small fuzzy cats now, they look too innocent when sleeping. ^__^

but i have to say i agree! you are highly interesting! you seem like you'd be really interesting to know in rl- too bad you're half way 'round the world.
