Ah, Bittorrent, why must you hate me so?
The trackers say you have 26 seeds, yet can only access 2, and we're uploading twice as much as we're downloading... I'm starting to get nervous about when my bandwidth runs out, because unlike the States, bandwidth is still limited in Oceania.
And if we shall get the files before WE LEAVE FOR AUSTRALIA.

-Trying to grab DC movies 3 and 7 for Mel Redcap as a bribe to finish her DC/MK Vampire 3-some pr0n and some other fic she has half done, as well as a thank you for letting us crash with her. Would grab movie 8 too, but we can't find any torrents under a gig, which kinda defeats the whole purpose of burning it off on a disk for her to watch.

Also trying to find Crystal Mother and Conan vs Kid vs Yaiba, since our copies seems to have gone missing when we moved. Argh.

Three new Mongolian Tunics, Two pair Mongolian Pants, a New scary Cloak and a new pair of boots. Also bringing the maroon dress, cause it's warm.

I also have to say I know about the bt-d/ling thing, since I'm trying to d/l the first raw ep of holic, and the speed time keeps fluctuating between 30mins and 2 days... *HUGs*

Think I wouldn't be so annoyed with the torrents if it had the amount of seeds and peers that the tracker says it does... With 29 seeds, this should be going quickly and not needing me to upload a greater percentage than I'm downloading. Right now on the 7th movie, my upload to download ratio is 3 to 1, and at a speed under one kps. That's severely messed.

Could you send the speicals to me? *looks hopeful* Um... think my e-mail allows for up to 10megs for attachments... Also have a streamload account. ^^;;

Ooo... can't wait to see the xxxHOLiC series... Will hafta wait until after we're back tho. It looks so cool! *squeees*

Mrrrr >_< *huggles* I think I ended up downloading a DC movie at over a gig - was divided into two files, each about 700MB, so had to burn it onto two separate discs. Uh, if you don't mind doing that, the Gig+ ones might work, though yeah, still a effin' huge file. *snuggle* Send Mel glomps and kisses from all of us in the States. :D

Think the problem with getting one of the movies that is over a gig currently is the -time-.
Both of these files have been running for three days now, and neither of them are to the 50% completed mark yet.

Have you tried mIrc?
I find it's quicker (even if you have to queue) and more reliable... Don't know about file size though.

If you can figure out how to use mIrc (it seems complicated at first, but isn't that complicated really), I have an IRC address with the Conan vs Kid vs Yaiba ep and Movie 8 in Japanese subtitled in French.
And probably quite a few Conan subbers have IRC channels too so...

If you are interested, could always give you a hand like when I helped Jeva get that ep of sunset mansion and what followed ?

Actually... was kinda hoping that he wouldn't be one of the 'Detectives of the Four Directions', but would stand alone as the Teenage Detective from Europe, like he was when he first showed up. The fact that he's being labeled 'The Detective of the East' makes me wonder if he has moved to the Beika/Ekoda area permenantly, espeically since the movie promo says he's studying 'Criminal Science' in London.

*butts in the conversation* There is a Firefox add-on called Greasemonkey (available at https://addons.mozilla.org/addon.php?id=748) that allows you to download youtube- movies in .flv format, which can then be vieved with the VLC media player. Maybe this could help you.

I have Firefox's 'Downthemall!' which has been a major help when collecting scanlations, but their 'FireFTP' doesn't seem to work so well. I tried updating 'Ahou Calling' with it a while back... and some of the encoding got messed up on the pages.

Yeah... in retrospect having a lot of Teenage Tantei does take away some of the novelity factor of it. Even if one of them might be the Kid. (Hakuba's there, he's usually following Kid, it's a logical train of thought #^^#)

Oh, Conan's just shocked that Hakuba's shown up out of nowhere and replaced him. Heiji doesn't have much of an expression because he doesn't recognize who he is ("And... who are you?") Since there's sort of a continuity between this case and the last case, Heiji seems to be the one person we can exclude.
