Date: 2006-03-23 04:38 am (UTC)Um... as far as why the Teepee is there... dunno.
There's also a forge in their back yard (or so my 6" tall friend says) and evidently a teepee is good to do forge work in... *shrugs*
Dunno. #^^#

Date: 2006-03-22 09:30 pm (UTC)Hey, Icka? I have an arts challenge for you-- oh hell, actually I just thought of a funny pic and can't draw worth a damn myself and am wondering what I can bribe you with to do it... **sheepish look** You know what's-his-face from Bleach with the Big Head of Spiky Black Hair and the cute little pink-haired chibi who rides around on his back? I was looking at a REALLY nice piece of art with a grownup version of Pink!Chibi, and then sort of started wondering how she'd look with her hair done EXACTLY like her eyepatched sort-of-dad, bells and all. And then I went, "I wonder if I could bribe Icka to draw this? Wow, it'd make an awfully good icon..."
**hides beneath desk**
I can kill somebody off in a fic for you if you'd like, or turn you into one of the card-characters in the KK/YGO crossover, or write something new, or drag you into Windfall (which has finally restarted in my head), or... **hopeful look** Hmmmmmmmmmm??? I could kill off Kiwi in a fic if you'd like, but I'm not sure how he'd feel about that. >__> Don't hurt me, Kiwi! I mean well! Put down that platypus! **runs**

Date: 2006-03-23 07:50 am (UTC)In Victorian times, they'd bring over things that completely distroyed the native animals and plant life. (ferrets, cats, RATS, gorse, opossums, cutting down the native hardwoods as useless)
They're trying to undo the damage now, restore as much as possible.

Date: 2006-03-27 09:55 am (UTC)I saw a few teepee when I lived in New Mexico, where you do get the occasional grasslands.
