Icka!: Beware of Kaitou. The Tantei aren't entirely trustworthy either. says:
-you do realise that people are going to think I'm more of a pervert now?
Po'e Nui - munchkin's new name is Snaggletooth says:
*smirk*
We're having a debate in chat if you can A: Pole Dance and B: Do the splits in form-fitting leather pants.
Yes/No?
-also debating the merits of leather pants made for, say, a specific person dancing vs. off the rack leather pants.
-Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone! Don't get pinched!

Date: 2006-03-17 05:21 pm (UTC)...oh, you are such love. ♥
But like Ytak said...disappointedly enough, if they were old, worn, stretched out leather pants, they'd be non-form-fitting.
...but then again, Kaito has magic, so wtf? Why do is have to make sense for him? X3!

Date: 2006-03-17 07:47 pm (UTC)Well... there's form-fitting and there's form-fitting. One thing you learn from the SCA is that Cut-Outs In Leather Make It More Flexible. Soooo, if you put LOTS of strategically-placed holes in the leather pants (shaped like whatever suits your fancy), even the tightest pants would flex a hell of a lot more.
And there's different types of leather, too. Icka? You might want to check on this, but I've been told that kangaroo-leather is WAY flexible and stretchy. Dunno for sure, though. For flexible-but-clingy, I'd personally go with doeskin.
**contemplates black-dyed doeskin pants**
**goes for a swim in the gutter**
...oh, and NOW I'm supposed to go back to WORK? Riiiiiiiiight.....

Date: 2006-03-20 07:29 am (UTC)There are definitely some types of leather that give/stretch a lot; I spent a summer learning to tool leather from a leather-worker (aaaand my brain just fritzed on the correct title). I'm simply not sure if they'd give Enough...

Date: 2006-03-20 03:13 pm (UTC)'Pinking' is what they call 'cutting little holes in leather to form decorative designs' and it definitely helps with the give; but until some kindly male pole-dancer out there decides to demonstrate for us, I guess we'll have to rely on our imaginations... and the descriptions that you and Icka write for us (hint, hint, hint).
You know, you could get an AWFUL sunburn if you wore pinked leather pants out onto a beach... owieeeeee... patterns.......

Date: 2006-03-21 09:40 pm (UTC)It's just that if Kaito's gonna be doing something acrobatic, probably looser drawstring pants would be better.
-He'll wear the leather at a later date.... or earlier... Dunno. Ask Koizumi, she's the one running this.
