ickaimpSpoilers, just things we thought were interesting to point out. Being the obsessive pervy fan that we are. ^__^
Sorry the pics aren't the best quality, was the best screencaps I could do.
So... What's wrong with this picture of the Kid?
Aside from the the fact that he has no mouth?

The Kaitou Kid out in the sunshine... oh my...
Interesting, huh? What would bring him out in Daylight, where it's easier to see him?
So what's wrong with this picture of Conan and Saguru being chased by someone on a motorcycle, most likely to kill them?

Saguru's not in a suit.
Seriously. First time we've seen him either Not in a Suit (he wears one under the inverness coat) or School Uniform. My gosh, the boy can dress casually. He's even wearing jeans. Watch the Voices fall over in shock.
-still doesn't make up for 'blue suit-green tie-purple shirt' from Sunset Mansion. Still no love for that, Saguru. *Pats Saguru*

Saguru's wearing the same type of watches that Go Boom. Which means he's at the amusment park as well.

... I've heard of 'Sucide Blond' before, but really 'Guru, do you have to put it to that much of a test?

Saguru's almost never out of some sort of uniform, be it a school uniform or a suit-and-tie (or inverness coat), and Saguru's at the theme park cause he's got one of those 'splody-watches.
On the back cover of volume 16 (Sunset Mansion), Saguru's wearing a Blue Suit with Green tie, White Shirt. (which really, is Shin'ichi school uniform)
So it could be that the animators changed the shirt colour to make it look less like Shin'ichi school uniform, and to make him stand out more.
But still... must mock... *cackles happily* -but in a friendly way.

Hmm... I supposed Aoko could have dragged both Kaito and Saguru to the theme park... she's the same to Kaito before and Saguru could be going along to make sure that Kid doesn't *cough* do anything stupid. ^^;;

Would love to see Saguru's reaction to seeing Conan again, after what happened at Sunset Mansion.

I really hope that the movie is as good as the previews show. Sometimes they show all the good stuff in the previews and that's it. Still, with that much fan service-y goodness, it is going to be the best movie in a couple of years (though, I did like the 7th movie. 8 was made just to show off Kid

Ehh... I saw movie 9. Was okay.
Yeah, Movie 7 was love, 8 was good (agree with you on the plot) and 9... was to show off that Mouri doesn't suck entirely.
Really, I think that was the whole reason behind movie 9. Same with last years OVA. blargh.
Actually... I need to sit down and watch some of the latest OVAs, cause Heiji was in the 16 suspects one, need to put that down on his site and do entries for the ones Kid are in, since I haven't done that yet. heh. ^^;;

Or he's colorblind. *blink,blink* That'd be interesting. My dad's colorblind and thinks purple=blue, so maybe he thought he was going blue, blue, green? But, my dad also thinks sometimes that green=yellow, so it begs the question, why was he going to go with blue, blue, yellow? *walks off, still thinking it over* Of course, that's asuming he's red/green colorblind...

Date: 2006-03-13 10:11 pm (UTC)Have a friend I've been talking to who has colour blindness and it's like you were saying about your father. Only to him some colours look the same, or when looking at a graident, it'll be one solid colour, then another solid colour, none of the shades in between.
Hm... the purple sock could belong to Mum!!!
(and it's not nearly as bad as all-argyle socks. Although I'm amassing a collection of them in RL)

Date: 2006-03-13 09:00 pm (UTC)-the first couple of times that I watched the preview, I thought it was Heiji running with Conan.
Then Knightus pointed out that Gosho has stated that Hakuba's in the 10th movie and did a screen cap of this scene and yeah, it's Saguru.
Apparently Hakuba's shirt is on the sleeves is Blue instead of Green. -I kinda maybe sorta took the pic into photoshop and played with brightness and saturation. ^^;; But it could also be the light and he could just as easily be wearing a black and white shirt.
