Friending Policy / Hey, Stalkers and Lurkers!

Um... okay, honestly? I don't have a hard-set policy or anything. ^^;

If you wanna friend us, feel free. Ya don't hafta ask or anything. ^___^

Our life is not exactly what you can call stable and internet access tends to be extremely intermittent, so we tend to friend people who we know in RL or talk to regularly on-line. So if we don't friend you back, is not intended as a slight, it's that we don't know where we're gonna be next month. It could be the West Indies, it could be that we're still here. Dunno.

And since SoG was made public last year, nothing has been friends-locked. So no-one's missing anything by not being friended anyway. ^^;;

Out of curiousity, have you had people offended and emailing/commenting on this? I friended you because I'm too lazy and forgetful to remember to drop in and check for things, I like your writing, and you're one of the only people I know of that know who Arsène Lupin is. I've also been enjoying reading about New Zealand, but I'm just not much one for commenting.

I don't mind not being friended back. The folks on my friends list are those whose LJs I want to read. Reciprocity is not part of the deal (though anybody's welcome to read my LJ). I started reading your LJ because I like your fics. You don't know me, and I don't know you.

And your LJ belongs to you, really. If you wanted to lock everything, nobody really ought to yell (People might anyway, but none of us are *entitled* to read what you post).
