Hmmm; I came out as Ran. Not certain if I should be disturbed by that or not-- it must've been the 'karate chop the wall' choice that did it. Oh well... **mope**

Y'know, I just went and reread your "What You say (What You Mean)" fic just for fun (am at lunch; bored; need fix!) and it occurred to me that there's ONE blonde that you didn't manage to get related to everybody. I am, of course, speaking of Suzuki Sonoko. Now I do realize that she's a ditz and an airhead, but isn't there a striking resemblance between her bouncy, fuzzybrained lightheartedness and the same type of conversation when done by Ran's English teacher, Jody Saintemillion (who we now know to be separate from Vermouth, of course)? Think of the whole Heiji murder-mystery thingie; gods, she sounds as brainless and birdwitted as Sonoko is bound to at that age! I can just see Sonoko announcing to Ran that she's planning to move to America and apply to the FBI after graduation...

Ran: You're KIDDING. What makes you think you'll get in?
Sonoko: Oh, my aunt'll pull some strings.
Ran: Huh? Your aunt?
Sonoko: You know, our English teacher, Jodie-san-- What do you *mean* I never told you she was my aunt? Whoops, my bad! C'mon, Ran, can't you see the resemblance? **preens blonde hair**
