Made it to LA

Made it to LA. Neechan picked us up from the Aiport (bless you Neechan). Thanks to MOrgan for dropping us off.

Take care of that knife, will you? It was my Grandmother's. Remind me to tell you the story behind it sometime, is pretty funny. (for the rest: I accidently packed two pocketknives in my carry on baggage. They found one.)

David and the Folks seem to be getting along fairly well. Dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Youngest sister still wants to come over and terrorize him. Highly afraid.

Next flight: Friday around 19:30. Hopefully will have time to do ficcage. Also have art to do.

Glad you made it safe! No prob about the mess-- am gradually gathering your remaining stuff and tucking it into a box or two to store in the hall closet, which I badly needed to clean out anyways (wow; had no clue I had that much in the way of brewing supplies in there. THREE carbuoys??)

Best fun, was Icka calling me to get her jackknife on the cellphone when I came out of the gift store. Waved at her and had the security guy bring me the knife. Highly amused at the desperado comment. Look out New Zealand.
