Art Update
Oct. 4th, 2005 12:20 amSo this morning there's a knock on on the door and I stagger out of bed and open the door after making sure I'm not falling out of my night shirt.
It's the maintance guys, here to fix the disposal. He looks at me. I peer blurry-eyed at him.
"You awake?" he askes.
"No." I wave him in. "C'mon in."
So he comes in and notices my boyfriend streached out on the couch, still mostly asleep and not wearing a shirt, cause anime night ran late last night so he crashed here. "I'm not awake either." He brightly announces before beating a quick retreat into the shower.
"We were up late reading books." I explain. Which was true, we were up until almost one, he reading the latest Terry Prachett, me with Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception.
... I don't think the maintance guy believed me. ~_~

Date: 2005-10-05 06:43 pm (UTC):: SPOILERS! ::
Date: 2005-10-05 06:53 pm (UTC)Book 4 has a lot more hard-core action, it's not nearly as 'fluffy' as the others, but it wasn't extremely deep dark and depressing either. *cough*harrypotter5*cough*
But you've also got a lot of confusion going on in Artemis' life, because he's partly the person he was -before- he met the Fairies and he's partly not. Not to mention the confusion because he doesn't remember them, and suddenly there's fairies popping out of the wood work, some of whom want him d-e-d. 9_9
But I like it because by the end of the book, he seems to have figured out who he is/who he wants to be. Now I'm eagerly awaiting book 5, to find out what happens with him, Holly and Mulch. ^_______^
