Coupla fic recs as thank you for the recs last week. Mostly Naruto, sorry.

Asuka Kureru has a wonderful Naruto AU that quite a few people are writing for currently, the 'Saki' series, which started with 'Strawberries and Lace' .
Admittedly, I didn't care much for the first two fics, ^^;; but the universe that they've started is absolutely wonderful and very varied.
Saki is Naruto's demure gothly girlfriend. Who just happens to be Sasuke. ^___^ With corsets, Lolita-style dresses, wench boots and a bit of a split personality.

Yeah. Wrap your mind around THAT. But it works. And really, it's no weirder than some of the other ninja.

Another interesting fic that was recommended to us several times before we found it was 'SelfReliance' by Imbrium Iridum.
Because Sasuke really would decide that he has to restart his clan By Himself. *snickers madly* Warnings for mPreg and Itachi learning how to cook.
chibirisuchan also wrote a cute side fic for it too. ^__^

Imbrium Iridum also has a rather funny story called 'Chibi'd' as well. Kakashi dealing with a handful of not-five year olds. *snerks*

Our friend angl3brt suggested that if anyone isn't familiar with FFVII, to check out Final Fantasy 7: The Story by Emerald Princess of Vernea, especially for those who are curious about Advent Children and haven't a clue about the characters. *cough*ysabet*cough*morgan*cough*

Though I s'pose I'll just hunt down a copy of the game and play instead. that thing's got too many words to read @@.

I'm one of the many readers of the Saki-chan Universe, as well :3
Even though I didn't feel much for the first of the stories, I still kept around for the more delightful and fluffy ones, as well X3

Yeah, I hafta agree with that. Read the first two a while back, thought the concept was kinda interesting, didn't care for the Non-con aspects.
Then ran across one with Gaara at a bar, laughed myself sick went on to read the rest of the side stories. Those, I like. ^_______________^

That was my reaction too -- and then she wrote "In the Rain," and the first two people offered responses, and all of a sudden it was idea explosion time.

I don't suppose you might be inspired to draw a picture or something? I think your art style would work well with the Saki-verses, particularly their zanier aspects.

And I'm overwhelmed that you mentioned me in the same breath with ChibiRisu-chan and rayemars. I'll just melt all over the floor now. ^______^
