“Didja know…” Genta cheerfully informed Naruto as the Shonen Tantei happily followed the brightly clad ninja “That from behind, your head looks like a giant pineapple?”

“Omae…” The blond ninja glanced back at them, one eye twitching in mute testimony that if Iruka-sensei hadn’t taught him that it wasn’t a good idea to start randomly stabbing people with kunai, they’d all have multiple holes in them.

“That’s okay.” Ayumi blithely informed Naruto, oblivious to the looming threat of physical violence. “From the back, Conan-kun’s head looks like an eggplant. His cowlick even forms the stem, see?”

This time Conan twitched.

...but EWWWWWWWW I HATE EGGPLANTS.
They were part of the school lunch once and my friends tried to force some down my throat. I cried right on the spot and freaked them all out XD.

Ahh, but you can throw a pineapple at a person and do some real damage; throwing a ripe eggplant just gets a resounding SPLORT!! as it explodes, and then people chase you. I'd rather be a pineaplle. **snicker** And now I'm having mental images of Kakashi wandering up to the Shonen Tantei and all of them chorusing "YOU'RE LATE!!!" and Kakashi-sensei saying "Well, there was this bunch of lost-nin wearing black trenchcoats who attacked me; had to kill 'em all, a shame, really. Don't worry, though, I left the bodies in front of the police station."
