By the time he got back, he'd be a mass of quivering nervous hysteria, just waiting for a body to fall from the sky RIGHT in front of him-- no, wait, that'd be Heiji-- okay, for a bomb to go off or somebody to get pushed in front of a train or a shot to ring out or something. And when absolutely nothing happened, poor Ran would come home to find him barracaded in the apartment's living room behind the furniture, frantically peering around for hidden Black Org members with his watch-dartgun cocked. Thwip! Thwip! Hee hee...
