Sat up to 2am to read up to Ch. 63 of Death Note last night, which is as far as I could get.
Went into it knowing he was gonna die and still found myself profoundly disappointed. *sniffles*
We have come to a conclusion: Death Note Must Be Mocked. Mwuahahahahaaa
Random note: Artist for Sakon is the same for Death Note. Noticed in 'Light Note, a DN doujin, a character from Sakon pops up. Mai Kawai, a idol singer from Sakon shows up in a bikini on a mag that some of the guys are looking at.
Need to see if she shows up in DN for real. ^^;;

Mocking DN sounds like a good idea to me. Especially the current arc. (Points finger. Giggles maniacally.)

I remain hopeful that the author is going to have that death be part of an elaborate plan that Kira simply didn't anticipate. As it is, Kira won only because the author decided to make his antagonist act stupidly for the purpose.

May I join in the 'Let's mock DN'? The current arc is ridicule, I couldn't read after chapter 65 or so. (I kept forcing myself, muttering 'hey, come on,it's gotta be a joke...', but I gave up. )
