[drabble] TGZ: Cliché / Icka being pervy about fish

“I don’t want to say it.” Saguru leaned against Kaito slightly, facing away from the crowd.

Kaito eyed the restless crowd. “You have to.” He hissed back. “You’re the detective who figured everything out.”

Saguru growled, an embarrased sound deep in the back of his throat. “But… it’s so cliché…”

“Saguru-kun.”

“I know, I know.” The detective sighed, then straightened, adopting a formal attitude as he turned and faced the gathered suspects and officers.

“Ms. White did it.” Saguru announced stiffly. “In the Dining Room. With the candlestick.”

“At least you didn’t say the butler did it.” Kaito muttered softly.

Yesterday:
Ysabet: The new guppies are Purple Dragon Guppies.
Icka!: Well, Dragon in Japanese is 'Ryuu'. You could name the other one 'Kyuu'!
Ysabet: Which one would be Kyuu and which one would be Ryuu?
Icka!: The one on the bottom would be Kyuu.
Ysabet: ICKA!!!

Detective Academy Q reference, for those who aren't familiar.
... the scary part (I hadn't really taken a look at them at the time) is that the Male is the same colour as Ryuu's blue-violet hair and the female is black and white like Kyuu's hair. So Kyuu would be on the bottom anyway. o_O
Ysabet comments that A: she's not sure that fish would have a top or a bottom and B: Kyuu (in the series) can't swim.
Hey, Mati? Remember that discussion about Kyuu? *waggles eyebrows and leers*

Today:
Ysabet: THE SHRIMP HAVE BEEN RELEASED INTO THE ENVIROMENT!!!
Icka!: Oooo!!! You HAVE to name them Conan and Yaiba!!!
Ysabet: That's what I was just thinking!!! :D
Ysabet: ... Yaiba's the one missing a limb. He sliced it clean off.

Took a second for my brain to catch up, was thinking Ed from FullMetal Alchemist when I first read that. #^^#

Yeah, I was naive until I was about 21. Then realised that I could get the guys to shut up and stop staring at my clevage if I could out-pervert them. ^___________^

Heh. That was part of my "education" and then I found a really comprehensive thread at Gaia Online. They'd answer questions about sex and sexuality (het and same-sex) with scientific accuracy and with a smile (the avatars smile) and without laughing at you or anything. I was amazed to find out just how much my guy-frieds had deemed true was well beyond wrong. Example: one of them swore doggie-style was anal. *bigsigh*
