For gracie_musica, who wanted to know why someone would steal a single hubcap off her car.

"Kid!!! Get back here!!!"

Yeah, right. Pull the other one. Why did everyone shout for him to stop running -away- from the nice people trying to capture him and run -towards- them? You'd think that they would learn from the few times he had actually done exactly that and suddenly had to scramble away.

Of course, Edogawa Conan wasn't exactly what you would call his normal pursuer, either. For one thing, he's a lot shorter than the norm.

A lot more persistent as well.

A whistling sound caught his attention and he ducked in time to avoid something shiny aimed for his head. With a small hop, he reached out and caught it. A hubcap.

"Hey, Boya!" He grinned and tossed it back at his pursuer, using the distraction to disappear from view and secure his getaway. Leaving behind one very pissed off shrunken detective. Hah.

Served him right, stealing hubcaps off of poor unsuspecting cars.

The car I drive (being a car on which three kids learned to drive) has no hubcaps. The solution? Any time you see a hubcap, bring it home with you! And why not? You can never have too many hubcaps.

You know, one day Conan is going to get arrested for vandalism or something, because of his tendency to kick other people's property at criminals.

Maybe that's why Agasa gave him his little inflatable ball belt. (Though that one just looks wrong when he uses it.)

I'm still stuck on the whole 'Kid, come here and steal me!' comment. This is something new to consider.

Which may, or may not, be a good thing. Heh.

At least the hubcap was put to good use.
