Um... lessee... first off, good news/bad news. (argh, I haven't been on-line in over half a week...)
Japan trip has been canceled due to a varity of reason.
That's both good and bad news, really. Now I get to call up the job places that we were talking to previously who said to call me back after Japan cause they were looking for full time people only. ¬_¬

Still selling the manga, had notes about that, but don't have them with me and I'm blanking out. >_< Sorry.

Uh... some of my fics are being translated to Taiwanese... #^^#

Anyone else watching 'Avatar - The Last Airbender' on Nick? I'm placing odds on the exiled firebending prince teaming up with them later. ^_^

I imagine it would be Chinese in general, ne? Unless someone's recording it as an audio fic... (now that's the ticket; everything sounds funny in Taiwanese, so your humor fics would go through the roof.)

Saw Avatar as well. For a cliche, plotless, capitalizing-on-the-anime-boom series, it's actually not that bad... (^^ Firebender-boy is SOOOOO going to join the gang...then fall madly in love with that waterbending chick (Katara?) and form a messy semi-pedophilic love triangle with her and Aang, much to the distress of her loving-and-concerned-yet-SO-not-incestful brother...)

My guess was similiar, the fans either pairing up Fireboy with either of the Water Clan, depending on people's preferences. ^^;; Thinking they'll prolly end up adding an Earthbender eventually. Either that or Sokka ends up being an Earthbender and didn't know it because of the amount of water around them, including the ice on top of the earth.

Um... as far as Aang pairings... will leave that up to Ryuutchi. #^^#

Airbender

When I first heard the ad for that show (from the next room), I did a blink and went "Who's on *what* kinda bender?"

^_^;; Heard it properly the next time around.

Watched it, too; liked it fairlymuch. Surprised at the quality that went into Airbender; not usually Nick's fare to have animation that good OR actual plot/character development. (Though have you ever seen Danny Phantom? Surprised that one's got some good points too--a real show, despite the kooky animation style.) Agree with you on the Firebender kid. Recognized his voice, too--ever see Hook (w/Robin Williams as Peter Pan)? He's Rufio. *snerk*

Yeah, Danny Phantom, Kim Possible, Codename:Kids Next Door and Avatar are currently my favourite non-anime cartoons. #^^# Waiting for more episodes of Avatar before writing anything for it tho.
