Sorry, kinda a hit-and-run entry.
To give people a general idea of what we currently have for manga, go here:

http://www.livejournal.com/users/ickaimp/44472.html

That was a year and a half ago (july 2003), so obviously, things have changed.
Willing to get rid of pretty much everything with the exception of the King of Bandit Jing and the Gosho books.

Would give you an updated list, but unfortunately, have been kinda busy the past couple of days.

The Good news: Icka now has a Part Time Side Job.
Doing artsy stuff even. *wiggles happily*

I call dibs! Saiyuki Reload, Executive Commitee, and... erm... how much are you asking for the Ushio and Tora? Cause I... ah... don't have all that much cash. >.> But I wanna buy at least a couple.

So...

...If you're willing to part with them... I'll buy these off you: Twin Signal, Magic Kaitou, Just!!! and Tokyo Babylon. ^^ *would snatch more but that'd be unfair to others*

He is Werewolf Kig sounds interesting, I lurve werewolves.

Muses: *pokes* Shouldn't you ask if they're in english first since, ya know you can't read a character of japanese?

I will learn!

Saa, As much I would love the Magic Kid manga, I'd never ask you to part with it, however if you can inform me as to how I'd get my own copies, I would be much obliged ^.^

Comment has nothing to do with entry. But whatever.

Was checking LJ in the school library today (while on MSN/AIM... yes, bad me) and came across your entry, then a group of girls (9th grade, I assume) walked past and said, "OMG, he's looking at Icka!M.Chif's stuff!!"

A friend nearby heard her and came up to me and said, "OMG, Icka! has an LJ?!"

Haha. Icka-sama is quite well-known, are you not? XD

Congrats on the side-job!

Congratulations on getting a Part Time Side Job that's even actually fun to do! Those are, of course, the best ones, but they also seem pretty rare.

I am, obviously, just reading this entry because of its subject. But hey, it *is* cool to hear you found a job like that. It gives the citizen -erhm, that'd be me- hope again that perhaps she'll be able to do the same, one day.

I was kind of wondering the same thing as [livejournal.com profile] summercloud; there are some translated graphic novels I'd commit the proverbial murder for -in a manner of speaking only, of course- but I can't read one single line of japanese. My impression is that the manga listed on that entry are all in japanese, in which case I guess I'll wait for you to get a little less busy. And maybe ask if Planet Ladder 4, 6 and 7 are among those 200 translated graphic novels you're getting rid of?

Ones I am interested in, if you still have them, others don't claim them first, and you don't want to hug them to yourself to keep:

Read or Die 1-2
Ushio & Tora 2-23
Yami no Matsuei 1-11
Detective Conan - not sure which ones, my collection is intermittent, but some

I am also very poor right now, but hopefully my auctions will do well this time around...

If the Fruits Basket books are (still?) up for grabs, I'd like them. That's probably all I'll be able to buy, as I don't have much money to spend. Failing that, I'd probably like CCS.

Also, congrats on the job ^___^v
