We were in a bit of a silly mood this morning. Was also poking at Vamp!Beach fic, which would prolly account for this.

It was nice, Hakuba mused, just to hang about and talk while they waited for the girls to arrive at the Kuroba household. They had taken over Kuroba's bedroom, the thief sprawled out across his bed, Hakuba lounging on the floor on the other side of the room.

A knock on the door interrupted their discussion and Kuroba raised his head to answer. "Go away!" He joyfully shouted. "We're naked!!!"

Hakuba stared at him as a brief silence followed. Brief, because it was immediately followed by the sounds of a scuffle from the hallway.

The door burst open with a rather energetic explosion, Aoko storming into the room, Koizumi's arms around her as the redhead obviously and futility attempted to stop her from entering.

Upon finding the boys fully dressed and on opposite sides of the room, Aoko stopping in confusion.

"Aw..." Koizumi looked disappointed. She released Aoko and turned to sulk at Kuroba. "You lied."

Kuroba's head hit the bed as he howled with laughter, chest and side heaving as he struggled to catch is breath.

"Well, that was interesting." Hakuba commented mildly. He would have expected the order of entrance to be the other way around.

Aoko turned red. "I... uh..."

"She was coming in here to give you what for for being perverted." Koizumi said cheerfully. "I was trying to convince her to leave and let you two carry on and get the details later."

Kuroba was increasingly becoming in serious danger of falling off the bed. Or dying of asphyxiation. Which ever one came first.

Hakuba gave her a half-wave, half mock salute. "Thanks."

It was entertaining to have such friends as these.

And back to the job hunt we go. (anybody know anyone looking for help in the Gem Show?) And visiting Gail in the hospital, since she went into the ER over the weekend. ((Huggles Gail)) We like the Tea Lady. ^__^

If you run into anyone with the last name of Busby let me know, they are friends of the family and good at finding work for people who want it. They should be at either the Congress Street Expo or the Kino Park Expo.
