ickaimpOkay, Sirah? Love you dearly, really I do, but the next time we do a Girl's Night Out and you spend the night, lets do it on the weekend where I don't have to be at work in the morning. *falls over into a pile of boneless goop*
So not awake this morning...
But had lots of fun. ^___^
Saw Pirates of the Caribbean again, noticed many things I missed before. That movie is so much fun. Could watch Jack move all day long.
Anyone else notice that Jack's fondling a small green banana during the 'interview the crew' scene with Mr. Cotton and Mr. Cotton's parrot?
It's right below waist level, so you don't see it in most of the shots. #^_^#
"Lovely singing voice. He's a eunuch." *snickers* (kinda wondering about motivation on that one)
Also waited thru the credits and saw the scene at the end with the monkey. Bad monkey. STUPID monkey. Idoit Monkey!!!!
Was thinking that you could throw some of the DC cast into PotC. Shin'ichi as Will, Ran as Elisabeth and Kaito/Kid as Jack, because dammit, it FITS.
Voices are making snide comments about Black Pearl/Black Ops that I'm gonna ignore now.
Also picked up Detective Conan tankubon #42. *happy* Is just not the same seeing it on the screen as it is seeing it in the book. Book so much better.
... noticed that Ran's Cellphone Charm is a Sea Cucumber with eyes. (it changes expressions too!) Am thinking that it's a charm of the Sea Cucumber Monster from Yaiba, who used to ride around in Sayaka's blouse. (it was friendly)
Been wondering why Vermouth is sort of protecting Shin'ichi and Ran for a while (she could tell Gin that he's Conan, but doesn't) when it dawned that gee, she and Yukiko learned disguises from Toichi together, so have prolly been friends for a while. And have the feeling that they've been keeping track of each other over the years, exchanging letters and photos and what not, so has been watching him grow over the years.
Voices are cackling up over the concept that Vermouth is Shin'ichi's adopted Aunt.
Will try to write tonight, no promises. Think we're gonna crash early instead, never sleep well with other people in my house for some reason...

*Chokes* Now that's one I hadn't considered.
But yeah, it is a mystery why she is protecting him. There are a number of possibilities, but which one is correct? Ran, I can sort of understand since Ran saved Vermouth's life back in New York. Still, I'm sure whatever WE come up with will be overturned by that sneaky Aoyama-sama! ^_~
