Realisations at 4:16 in the afternoon:

So we're in Tucson. It's hot. And currently, humid. Too hot and humid to wear a hat. So I pulled out my old black Chinese parasol and use that on the walk back and forth to our job. Which we've been doing for over a month.

When suddenly it dawns on me as I'm heading home today.

I'm a NANNY with a black BROLLY.

*head desk*

The worst part is that we wear our hair in a bun a lot lately too... Now all we need is the victorian clothing and the ability to fly home...
