Ficcage and RL rambling

Blaming ladyorla for the fact that Hakuba is currently quoting Monty Python in the latest Grey chapter.

So we're talking to Becky (HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVIL TWIN!!!) and realise that if this continues to go the way I think it's gonna go, we're gonna hafta do some research.
Research mainly consisting of watching some British Sci-Fi comedies, cause our knowledge of Dr. Who is mainly second hand and what we know of Red Dwarf is crooning "I'm going to eat you my popsie, I'm going to eat you~" which sounds damn funny but makes no sense.
Any suggestions? ^______^

Going on two weeks in Tucson, and hafta say it's interesting. The firetrucks are this odd colour that appears to be this cross between sage and lime green, people are honestly friendly (which is taking some major re-adjusting, keep wondering what everyone wants) and while the heat isn't so bad (yet), it's the dryness that keeps getting to me. Even with a water bottle (i'm using a pocari sweat bottle! XD ), a few hours of wandering around and running errands leaves me with an annoying dehydration headache. Understand this will go away as I get aclimated, or used to it, but in the mean time it's a pain.
But still, the desert is really very pretty. ^___^ *is happy* And the neighbour's cats have taken over my house as theirs, which is nice. Have missed having furry bodies around. >^.^<
... there's a mosquitoe hawk examining my toes... o_O
