Anyway. Was checking out Ann's ff.net account and found a bunch of PotC fics under 'favourites' so started reading some.
Okay, while I admit that Capt'n Jack Swallow is not bad looking (and so much fun to watch XD ), he's a PIRATE.
This means 'not so much fresh water'.
So he's -gotta- be smelling pretty fresh too. Besides the whole rum thing. Be willing to be that if he got clean, he'd prolly end up being several shades paler under all that grime.
And this isn't even mentioning the other stuff that's prolly mixed in too. He doesn't have that one round scab on the side of his face for nothin'. Scurvy anyone?
And yet it is continously written that Will (who does bathe) sees Jack, Jack sees Will and they jump each other's bones.

Took a quick trip to the Mitsuwa during lunch with Porcupine Head.
No new ticket prices, but they're starting to get the anime calendars up. They have a One Piece one hanging currently, with ads for the Conan, Saiyuki and D•N•Angel calendars too. ^_^ (we've had the Saiyuki calendars for the past 2 years, thinking of switching series)

They also have One Piece plushies in the Candy aisle, about 10" high. (little taller than a hand length high) Luffy and Chopper only. You can hide stuff up their butts. No, seriously. It's a hidden pocket in their pants.
... and that just sounds worse and worse...

I got called a wench today! Cause I have about 2 metres of this wide funky maroon fabric trim wrapped around my head several times as a head band. ^__^ *happy* The circles kinda look like squid suckers to me.
