Cut Scene from "The Price You Pay"
Apr. 26th, 2003 09:50 pm"The Price You Pay" is one of my major current works in progress. Started out as one medium-long fic, and has since spawned 2 other stories, all of which are being worked on at the same time. ^^;;
This is between the first and the second story, after Hattori and the Kaitou Kid were kind of forced to work together to help Shin'ichi.

Kudo looked up at Hattori and raised an eyebrow. He paused for a moment, then looked back down at the sidewalk. "You have a pigeon on your head."
"I know." He deadpanned, not bothering to attempt to dislodge it. "-And it's a dove, not a pigeon."
"Ah." Kudo nodded. "Can I ask why or is it going to hurt to know?"
"Probably gonna hurt." He admitted. He wasn't sure just -how- the Kid trained his doves to land on his head, but somehow he had with surprising consistency.
Kudo nodded again, recognising one of those times when it was better to leave well enough alone. "Okay."
