MOrgan and I have been having an on going debate over which would be more classified.

The Backstep Project from '7 Days' or the Stargate from 'SG-1'?

The Stargate project would have to be more classified. After all, a leak about the Stargate project can't be fixed, whereas a leak about Backstep could be fixed by using a Backstep (not to mention by putting Parker on the air for interviews, as they did in one episode where there was a leak). The only way to time travel with the gate is if you know when there is going to be a solar flare, which requires you to either be in the past with that knowledge (episode title: 1969) or have access to a super-powerful computer with models for accurately predicting such occurences, like the Ashin have (episode title: 2010). Just my two cents.

The thing I hadn't thought of before posting this was that the fuel drive for the Backstep project is an energy source recovered from the Roswell crash. (the Parker interview was a hoot!!! XD 'I was recently in a mental institute'... *laughs*)

So it comes down to which is more classified: Aliens + Time travel or Aliens + Transporter.

Think my problem is that at this point I've seen more 7 Days episodes than I have Stargate... >b

Well, I haven't seen '7 Days,' so I can't speak for that one, but the stargate is pretty darn classified.

Speaking of which, I recently read a really long, really good crossover between Highlander and Stargate SG-1 (author: ecolea). The fact that I haven't seen more than an episode or two of each didn't seem to make a difference.
