-Dyeing hair with henna attempt number 2!!! Currently splattered with what really does look like poo from about the waist up. Adding cinnamon really does help with the smell tho.

I have a couple of boxes of crayola markers that I use to decorate myself on occasion. I like the way the various colours look, and can do a varity of designs.
-of course, they're gone in less then a week, but they last longer on my skin then sharpie markers do, which sounds kinda odd. o_O

Never tried the henna on skin, but I'm not much for sitting still and -not- touching things either... ^^;; The smell's not that bad when mixed with cinnamon I've found, tho the cinnamon is a bit harder to wash out of the hair then the henna.

I'm usually the victim of some indian girl who really wants to try out this new tube of henna she bought. Kind of cool, not that bad because it's during class, and if it's only my left hand, it's not that big of a deal 'cause I don't really use it anyway.
the indian designs of SO COOL!!! The smell depends of the brand tho... but if it really gets to me, I just try to put it away as far as possible for my face. oh yeah, advice from indian friend: to make it last longer, don't wash hand for about 2 hours

Yeah, I love the henna patterns. Once got really bored and covered my left arm from fingers to elbow in henna patterns with a red sharpie marker.
-they look better henna'd then in red ink, cause red ink makes people think you're bleeding. ~_~

I've heard the waiting time to be as long as 24 hours before washing it off before. o_O 2 hours doesn't seem that long of a time, really...

well, you put it on, then wait for a while until it dries (time depends on brand, usually about and hour and a half) and when it does, then you can peel it or flake it off. If you wash your hands before you flake it off, then the henna doesn't stay that long.

Brown also works, do you get Sakura pens there? those work
