Okay, so Morgan and I are walking through 'Heros and Villians', a local comic book shop and we're looking at the comics and Morgan comments about how she likes Nightwing, the whole idea of Robin growing up when a voice speaks up from behind us.
"If you buy the comic, I'll sign it for you."
Morgan: "And who might you be sir?"
Turns out he's Patrick Zircher, the penciler of Nightwing #93. ^__^ Very nice guy, ended up talking with him for a while.
-yeah, she got the comic and he signed it. *bounces*

Also got the Last Steam Detectives Graphic Novel!! :: FANIMPISH SQUEAL OF DELIGHT:: It only took 5½ years for Viz to get all 8 volumes out!!! ¬_¬;;
Had an interview today with a temp agency, think it went well and we scored well on the proficiency tests for Word and Excel. No suprise on the first, but I hardly ever use Excel. o_O Then hung out at Morgan's place, watched anime and did some doodles.

Nurse Logan / Teddy Bear Wolverine

Aoko and Spot
For ysabet's Windfall. Spot behaving for once. Random cute doodle, cause we've been doing a lot of guy pics lately, trying to get better at drawing them.

Why did the Dog chase the Cat?
-cause the cat teased him. Speaking of cats behaving and drawing guys. Get the feeling this should be a birthday pic if we coloured it, but I'm not quite sure for who... o_o? volunteers?

Some things are just better said in Chibi-form, that's all we're saying. Yeah, we're going ta hell.

Didn't quite get the 5-year anniversery pic for Mischif.net coloured in time, so the pencil sketch is temporarily up until we finish the colours. King of Bandit Jing (second season manga): 5 finger discount.

Her name is Dee. Sigh and she's heading in today, poor kid. I sent to her just now and hope she gets Logan 'fore she has to leave. And it should say something about behaving cause Dee can be a handful. Snerk. Think she'd behave if Logan just stood there and growled. Or maybe not that would be a hell of an invite. LOL!!!

Okay, before anyone kills me or gets the wrong idea, the full scene that the mental pic comes from:

"As talented as your friend may be," Hattori was clearly sceptical and not making much of an effort to hide it. "I don't think he's going to be able to find us before the police do."

"You've never met Kaito!" Aoko retorted hotly.

Hakuba was torn. Kuroba was the Kid, and if anyone could find them, it would be the Kid. However, as Kid had commented several times, he was not a detective. He was a thief and a very good one at that.

And Hakuba was not going to take to standing on tall objects shouting, "Kid! Come here and Steal me!!!"


Just clearing that up before anyone gets too many Hakuba = Relena vibes going on.

Having read SoG prior to this loopey line of conversation... it is sad, but safe to say, that knowing the context did not remove the "Relena vibes" or reduce the urge to giggle.

well I'd offer to steal the "why did the dog chase the cat" for a birthday pic but I'd rather have some of your "private story" cats & dogs or actual cts & dogs that you have met in the picture! LOL!
Glad to see you finding a temp agency... those are great for just bringing in a little money... My job hunt still goes & goes & goes... Sigh, it seems that me and cldshadow are fated to have only one of us working at a time... Lesson: Time to hunt up better paying jobs & move somewhere with a cheaper cost of living!

Funny the people you meet in a comic shop. I seem to spend a lot of time in them lately. Glad things are going well and love the pic of Aoko and Spot.
