"Kuroba-kun?"

"Yes, Sensei?"

"Where is your homework?"

"Uh, well... you see..." the sentence trailed out into an illegible mumble. Which was most unusual because Kuroba was most capable of coming up with the most outlandish stories at the drop of the hat.

"I'm afraid I didn't catch that."

"My doves got to it." This was accompanied by a wince. "Y'know that joke about parakeets and newspapers?"

"You are saying that one of your doves fouled it?"

"Several, actually."

"And you have proof?"

"Do you want me to bring it to class?" This was accompanied by a grimace, as if in memory of a horrible smell.

".... that will be quite alright. I expect it on the desk first thing tomorrow."

"Yes, Sensei."

Kuroba sat back down.

"Nice story." Someone whispered.

Kuroba looked despondent. "Would be if it wasn't true..."

"Hakuba-kun? Where is your homework?"
"My hawk ate it."

That is a great mental pic of Hakuba... scary thought about Akako. And in regards to Hauntress' challenge... Eep! Do we really want to know?
