[fic] Shades of Grey: Prank
May. 31st, 2004 11:05 amJust another short one.
There's a longer chapter in progress, Aoko's getting active to the plot (finally) and we really need to work on Kaito 2.0 and finish the Werewolf fic. *sighs* Much to my dissapointment, Cyote Kid and PYP are currently stalled due to comedy/plot issues. ( *mutter* think it says something about us when we're paused on a fic because we can't get the Kid's exacution funny yet >_< even with the crossdressing)

"Kid?" He called without uncurling from his comfortable position on the couch or looking up from the book currently resting on his knees.
He sensed more than saw or heard the thief freeze behind him. "Yeah?"
"Could you do me a favour?"
Slight hesitation. "Depends."
"Would it be possible for you to de-program the VCR from flashing '1412' before my Father notices and calls it into question?"
Something that sounded suspiciously like a snicker answered him as Kid glided by. "What's the matter?" Kid teased, the tone never broaching anything other than playful. "Couldn't figure out how to do it yourself?"
"Hardly." He quipped, raising his gaze to watch the thief crouch down in front of VCR and begin scraping thin pieces of black vinyl electrical tape from the surface of the display screen. "It was your prank, I figured you could damn well clean up after yourself."
Kid laughed softly, revealing the screen flashing '18:88'. "And here they say it takes a genius just to make a VCR tell the correct time..."
