The Shortest Shades of Grey Fic yet
May. 25th, 2004 03:30 pm"...Kid?"
"Yeah?"
"A comment on tonight's heist?"
"Yeah?"
"Toilet paper is not designed to be utilitized as weapontry."
"-Gotcha."
-fin-
hee hee hee. #^^# Sorry.
Other random note:
The second to last night at my old house, I was just about to step into the shower when there's a knock at the door. Figuring that it was someone about the 'for rent' sign out front, I ignored it.
For the first 2 knocks. Then I grabbed clothing and answered the door.
A small young woman imedetatly demanded to know how long I'd been living there.
-two years.
She then wanted to know if I knew who lived there before me.
-Didi, a very nice lady who'd lived there for about four years. I've met her several times.
She then wanted to know if I knew anyone who'd lived there prior to that.
-The one before Didi was an elderly handicapped man in a wheelchair who died there. I only know because I was asked when I moved in if I was okay living somewhere someone had died. ^^;; (which I am. And he's not haunting the place. Or if he is, he's friendly)
Turns out the old man who died there was most likely her Grandfather, it was his last known address. ^^;; She lives all the way over in New York and since she was in the area, her mother demanded to know what happened to him. #^^#
I ended up passing her along to my previous landlord for confermation.
But it made for an interesting night. ^___^

As for the Toilet Paper... can be nasty if it's soaking wet. (Kosagi's sons have given her much experience in this. *sigh*)

Write a Kid hiest involving Toilet Paper or something... ^__^

Date: 2004-05-26 11:00 pm (UTC)It was the grand daddy of all pranks. Generations of pranksters, jokesters and trouble makers learned about this before they even walked.
It came to no surprise Kaitou Kid would use this traditional form. In his own personal touch of course...
Nakamori: *in a bathroom stall* WHERE THE !#$)@$#%# HAS ALL THE TOILET PAPER GONE?!"
A bit lame but I remember all the times I got caught in the bathroom and there wasn't any TP, and I can see Nakamori's point. ^^;;

One of the main mental pics that spurred me on to continuing to write the damn story is one of the Kid hopping down off a building and Hakuba stepping out of the shadows and informing him of all the minor flaws in the heist. Then Kid rolling his eyes and debating it with him. ^^;;
mwuahahahaaa! Go plunnies, go!!!

Date: 2004-05-26 04:46 pm (UTC)I wish you could see what happens when you shoot a roll of TP with a trebuchet, though; that's IMPRESSIVE. Now that one I *did* do, years ago at an SCA event. Those buggers can really make something fly quite a ways... I wonder whose tent we hit?
