[drabble] FMA: Up with Miniskirts!!!

ickaimpOkay, my toilet jokes last night?
Not a joke.
Turns out that when they sold my current place of residence to the new owner, they failed to report that the plumbing is, well, really really bad. Among several other things that should have been reported. ¬_¬ Cascade effect.
Sufficiant to say, my bathroom is Out of Order. <-- massive stinky understatement.
Evidently, my lot-neighbour has been dealing with this and no water since about the time I left to house hunt, some 10 days ago. >_< I just walked into it. Blargh.
Have this mental image of Kid flushing a cherrybomb down the officer's toilets.

"Maintenance!"
... It'd make a good distraction from his sneaking in, ne?
Anyway, why ruin a good themed writing streak? Some FullMetal Alchemist humour for y'all.

"Today is the day!" Mustang announced triumphantly. "Hawkeye! Send out a memo announcing a change in the dress code!"
"Mini-skirts?!" Havoc almost but not quite cheered.
"Mini-skirts!" Mustang affirmed proudly.
Wild cheers erupted from the men in his office, rocking the building.
Hawkeye sighed, a long-suffering expression on her face. "For all officers, sir?" She reiterated.
Amid the earth shaking noise, Mustang nodded.
Hawkeye shrugged and did exactly as she was told.
The next day, there were little to no protests from the female officers over the change in dress code.
However, there were quite a few from the men.

Well... Mustang did say 'All Officers' when Hawkeye checked... ^_^
Since I'm stuck at home baby sitting the houses, thinking of updating Mischif.net, but everything current is on LJ, and we need to stay off the phonelines, so we'll see how it goes.

Hawkeye: "Nosir; you must be aware that I have no sense of humor, sir. Although I have been aware of a certain amount of levity among the enlisted men as of late, sir."
Mustang: "...right. Process the amendment, please." **scratch, scratch, tug**
Hawkeye: "How would you like it to read, sir?"
Mustang: "I don't give a damn. Just put the men in some sort of pants-- any kind of pants! If I have to spend one more day wearing nylons--"
Hawkeye: "'Any kind of pants', sir? The nearest equivalent, to keep with an air of uniformity?"
Mustang: "--uniformity? ...Whatever. Just get us OUT of these skirts, Hawkeye!"
Hawkeye: "Yessir."
Three days later:
Mustang: "Hawkeye? About that amendment..."
Hawkeye: "Yessir?"
Mustang: "I understand your comment regarding 'uniformity' now, and I must admit that this is an improvement. But--"
Hawkeye: "Yessir?"
Mustang: "-- I find that the newly-issued shorts are a bit, ahhh, short, actually."
Hawkeye: "I believe that that's the idea, sir; it is with the miniskirts. 'Nearest equivalent'--"
Mustang: "Quite. Point made. Please process another amendment cancelling the last two--"
Hawkeye: "...Certainly, sir..."
Mustang: "-- and get rid of that camera. RIGHT NOW."
Hawkeye: "Yessir."
