Came down with a bit of a cold last night, which is really funny considering how hot it is. ^^;; Spent most of today drinking tea and sleeping, so haven't done much. Think I'm allergic to Anaheim.
Currently resisting the urge to chug the entire bottle of dark Molasses we bought at the store when we picked up medicine. While we do seem to consume and use massive amounts of sugar on a daily basis, that is one buzz I don't wanna think about...

Ysabet, since I don't know the next time we'll both be on-line, if you would switch over to friends view, will be posting some Windfall 13 fanart for you. (don't wanna spoil stuff for everyone, sorry.)

A friend of mine makes absolutely wonderful molasses gingerbread. Mmmmm. Black and sticky and spicy. Weighs about a ton per slice and is the calorific equivalent of plutonium. Love it. And I've found a type of Japanese candy called kuroame... also black and sticky, with a very molasses-y flavour. Good stuff! ^_^

What does Kuroame look like? Will have to look for it at the Japanese Grocery stores here...

It's black ^_^ obviously... well, really really dark brown, I guess. Biggish sweets done up in twists of black plastic, in a (mostly black) bag... can we see a trend here? If you can't find it in shops and you'd like to try it, I can send you some!

And by the way... largely thanks to you (again you get me into something! daaah!) I have become addicted to One Piece. At least the fic bunnies are leaving it alone so far...
