Slayers: In Which

It's been... what? Almost 2 years since we worked on a Slayers fic. ^^;; But an e-mail recently reminded us that we haven't finished the fic, and it's been sitting there in a holding pattern, with like a paragraph and a half left that needed to be written.

So when Mel and Mati started talking about Zel and Chimeras tonight, and we got off our collective duffs and finished the fic. You can thank them for it.

There's also the very very VERY last mental image from the series posted, but it's a Cliffhanger. You can find it on our site as well. DON'T KILL US!! That's it! No more! End of the line!! We're DONE!

Other news: We have a new icon. ^__^ It's a play off our name ('Icka' prounouced the same as 'Ika', japanese word for 'Squid')
'Saa' was discribed as "I don't know with the expression of a puzzled squid" when we were doing Kansai-ben research a while back and it kinda stuck.

Mati has also dragged us into the hole known as FMA manga. ^^;; Will glomp or hit you later.

Ohhh!! Thanks for posting the end! It's a somewhat odd ending, but not really bad. Although I kind of like it better WITH the cliffhanger than without! Even though things aren't resolved, the cliffhanger points us in a direction where we can hope for things to come, whether we actually ever find out what those are or not. You're also better than I who left a fic half finished and at a major cliffhanger point and have totally given up on ever finishing it off! Not that anyone'd care anymore if I did anyway, since all my readers have long wince found other things to read ^^;;
