Ficcage Questions

Alright... spent a while on the Price You Pay today, working on things and cleaning up parts. Our writing style has shifted a bit since we started on it last April or so (for the better! thank you grammar people! *hearts*), so we're having to do some compensating
Ch 1 has just gotten too big and bulky, so we'd like to post the first half of it sometime soon so that we can focus on finishing the second half of it, and bridging the few gaps in Ch. 2 & 3, which are nearly finished.

Question: (since our regular evil influences aren't on-line to bounce off of ¬_¬),
Should Heiji have an accent? And if so, what kind?

-the pack of guard-Chihuahuas has made it into the second chapter, BTW. ^__^

Does anyone have any preferences as to what gets out/finished first? Will still write them as the Voices dictate, but knowing what people want to read does tend to influence what gets priority.

Werewolf of London and B&W blanket fic are not being listed because they're turning out... weird. o_O

I'd like to see more from "Hurt/Pain"-- it's new, it's different, and I like the darker Kaito a lot.

Heiji? Accent? Go for it-- but if you can't do it right, don't bother to try.

Speaking of which, you may want to take a quick look at the earlier chapters of "Hurt/Pain." For example, I noticed the second one had some typos and grammer mistakes that would be easy to fix.

was thinking just a slight accent for Heiji. Will definately be double checking that it'll be looking right!

Will bump Scar and Heal to the top then. Scar is about half done anyway, Heal is pretty much done, just have to edit the beginning.
Will go over the earlier chapters for grammer *nods* didn't have the people checking the fics like we do now. Thanks for pointing it out. ^__^

Any chance that PYP would be second? That's been my favorite, lately. I'm a sucker for family type fics, I'll admit. Also, I want to see the Chihuahuas. :)

I don't really like accents in fanfiction, but I think I'm in the minority.

And I admit I notice grammar mistakes a lot - I have two older sisters who are grammar police and it's rubbed off on me - if you want, I could go through some of your older fics and note small stuff and e-mail you about it. But it's annoying to be nagged about stuff like that, so if you don't want me to, forget I asked. :)

Hmm... PYP could use some grammer work, already know that.
Would it be okay if I sent it to you, or at least the first part that we wanna post? (the full thing is currently 118k, *.txt, so is kinda large) And you could comment/correct?

So tempting. So very very tempting. We suck so very much with grammer, espeically with the earlier stuff where none of it was beta'd.
Yes on the larger fics-? Mebbe the worst ones/the ones you like? ^^
M'not really worried on the smaller stuff (I.E. Crazy Aunty Icka) since those are pretty much throw-away gags anyway. ^^;;

Sure! It would be no problem. I'm out of town this weekend, but you could send me whatever you want - my e-mail address is in my profile. And my e-mail can handle the large file - it's a university account. :) And if you'd give me a list of the older ones you'd want me to look over, I'd do that, no problem. I could probably have PYP looked over by Tuesday.

I'll have to point out that I can't be a real beta-reader, though, as I am usually pretty bad about plot. :) I never want to change anything.

Hurt/Pain universe. I remember reading that a long time ago and wishing that you would get them written already. ^^;;

And besides, the later you finish PYP, the better for all of us. :D

I'm afraid that I'm going to have to go with everyone else and say that seeing the Scab/Heal or PYP finished would be nice. :D Doesn't really matter which ones get done first since they're both really interesting.
