One of Heiji's eyebrows rose.

"Oh, so pretty!"

He nudged Hakuba, who was looking very surly and out of sorts as he tugged his clothes. "Oi."

"Yes?"

"I feel pretty, and witty and gay!!!"

Heiji motioned to Kaito, who was cheerfully warbling at the top of his lungs in English. "Does he know what heck he's singing?"

The stoic blond detective sighed. "Most likely."

"And I pity..."

"He's doing this just to annoy us, isn't he?" Shin'ichi muttered darkly under his breath.

"Any girl who isn't me today!!!"

Hakuba's answer was immediate and firm. "Yes."

"See the pretty girl in that mirror there:"

"I'm gonna kill 'im." Heiji growled.

"Get in line."

"Who can that attractive girl be? "

"I get first dibs."

"Who's idea was this anyway?"

"Such a pretty face, such a pretty dress, such a pretty smile, such a pretty ME!"

"Actually," Hakuba pointed out "Was not it your idea, Hattori-kun?"

"I feel stunning, and entrancing..."

"Oh, yeah..." Heiji scratched the back of his head in an embarrassed gesture.

Shin'ichi glared at him.

"Feel like running and dancing for joy!"

"At least could someone get him to stop dancing?" Heiji asked plaintively, eager to divert the attention off of him as Kaito playfully danced in place.

Hakuba crossed his arms. "If you want him to stop dancing, YOU do it. -I- know better."

"For I'm loved,"

Shin'ichi sighed. "I hate this. I really really hate this." He cast a dark baleful look at his dark-skinned friend. "You just HAD to place the bet with the girls, didn't you?"

"Well, how was I supposed to know that Aoko-kun could swing like an ogre and Koizumi-chan was a sorceress?!"

"By a pretty wonderful boy!"

"The fact that the Ran and Kazuha-chan are martial artists had nothing to do with it either, I suppose?" Shin'ichi drawled.

Heiji glared at him. "Oh, shut up."

"Next Verse!"

"Alright, guys!" The girls all wore matched grins of mischief and delight as they motioned for them to line up, dressed in their attire.

A short skirt for the twitching Hakuba, a sundress for cheerful Kaito, a full kimono for the pissed off Heiji and the annoyed Shin'ichi was stuck wearing one of his mother's short one piece dresses with pearls.

"I feel pretty!"

"Hold that pose!" Kazuha cheered as she focused the camera and took the picture.

::FLASH!::

"And don't forget the jell-o filled water balloons." Akako smirked.

The boys, save Kaito, glared.

"Oh, so pretty!"
