Yum... turkey curry ramen... *purrrrrrs* >^.^< fun with leftovers.
Yesterday was fun, my youngest sister dragged me out to a party with a bunch of her friends. Since everyone's broke, we had a White Elephant for christmas gifts.
White Elephant: Everyone brings a gift, something laying around the house, (in our case, worth under $5) and no-one's allowed to know who brought what, or what's in the gifts.
Everyone draws a number out of a hat, and go in that order. The first person chooses a gift and opens it. The second person then has the choice of taking that gift, or opening a new one. If second person takes the gift the first person had, the first person must then go and open a different gift. And the pattern contiunes. A gift may change hands 2 times before it stays.
Was lots of fun! I traded a bag of chocolate covered puffed rice (other wise known as 'Crunch Bars' blech) for a roll of toliet paper. ^__^ (what? I needed the toilet paper! and it's 2 ply! *laughs*)
My White Elephant gift was a wind-up chibi bouncing penis and some chocolate-covered cherries. (it took my sister an hour to figure out the joke ¬_¬ ).
Do not ask me why I had a bouncing wind-up penis laying around the house.... just... don't. *shakes head*

I think they might have gotten that mixed up with current life...
'Ickaimp' in the name thing brings up many different kinds of 'Damsels in distress' and we shall not touch that with a 20 metre pole, thank you. *growls*

no subject
Date: 2003-12-08 04:24 pm (UTC)What, did I suddenly explode into terrifying outbreaks of Bach and Beethoven? Did people run and hide when they saw me coming for fear of being hit by flying quarter-notes? Was I shunned, eventually dying alone and unloved while singing Gilbert and Sullivan?
**snicker** Okay, enough of that.
Happy First-Weekday-Of-Freedom, Icka! Errrrr... Okay, SOMEBODY has to ask, even though you *said* not to. WHY did you have a wind-up chibi bouncing penis lying around your place? See, this is why I won't live to old age-- people say "Don't do that!" and I immediately want to do it. So it goes.
Well? Well?
It's really mundane
Date: 2003-12-08 06:11 pm (UTC)I still have a second wind-up chibi penis and a wind-up bouncing butt (with lacy thong!). Both are hidden in a plastic bag along with some other random stuff.
Still feels weird, feels like I'm playing hooky today or something... o_O
Re: It's really mundane
Date: 2003-12-08 06:25 pm (UTC)Yeah, I know what you mean re: the 'playing hooky' stuff-- when you've been working in one place for so long, you've still got the habits ingrained, don't you? At least you quit on your own terms, though; that's got to feel pretty good.
Didja post the scans of the Nekkid Clues yet? **hopeful look** Can't find 'em! Heh; 'Nekkid Clues' sounds like the name of a rather '80's retro band.
