More Steam Detectives Silliness.

So I'm working on some sketches because the holydays are coming up as well as several birthdays and watching Steam Detectives when I have to stop sketching because my hands are shaking, my eyes are watering and I'm having trouble breathing because I'm laughing so hard.
In the series Steam Detectives , there are not one, but TWO Kaitou. Red Scorpion, who's a bit of a dork, and Kaitou Le Bread. Who despite the dorky name, is massively cool.
For one thing he reminds us a great deal of Hakuba, if he became a Kaitou. Blond hair, similar voice, the whole class and elegance thing.
And he's the only one of the opponents to show up at the Agency. smile politely and demand tea
But episodes 21-22 shall have me in stitches for a while. For one thing, Le Bread has to be one of the few people to attempt to kill the main character thru opera.
Yes. Opera.
He invites Narutaki to the opera, and challenges him to sit thru the entire performance. To back this up, once Narutaki agrees and sits, automatic machine guns pop up and will fire if he stands up. *laughs manically*
The opera actually consists of him becoming Kaitou Le Bread and highlights of encounters between Narutaki and Le Bread, which occasional projectiles and bombs flying towards Narutaki as he sits and watches.
Up until the police break in and try to stop the show at a really really bad moment for Le Bread.
Le Bread's upset because he hasn't said 'his most important words.'
At which, Narutaki leaps out of his chair, runs down the aisle, dodging bullets and runs up the stairs towards Le Bread and the cops. The cops scatter and Le Bread runs -down- the stairs to Narutaki where they take out the machine guns pretty much back to back. Le Bread then collapses (he's really not doing well) and Narutaki catches him, hold him up. (everyone go 'awwww')
-turns out the cops were a set up by a friend of Le Bread, who wanted Narutaki and Le Bread to confirm their friendship because SPOILERLe Bread is dieing, and doesn't want Narutaki feeling sorry for him..
Small Mecha battle as Le Bread escapes, both the Detective and the Kaitou are smiling at each other as they shout their farewells "We'll see each other again." / "I'll catch you yet."
Le Bread then picks up Lan-Lan, his assistant, smiles gently while looking down and tells her something that you can't hear over the hiss of the steam engine of the mech they're riding on. She looks surprised, then looks down at Narutaki as well.
Bets on what was said anyone? Bets?! Place your bets here! *cackles manically*
.. .Yeah, okay, so it's yaoi-bait, but dang if it's not funny.
It did NOT help that we were working on a pic of Hakuba glomming Kid at the time. ~_~ *Whistles innocently*
And in the mean time, Goriki continues to worry about his virtue around the Machine Baron and the Phantom Knight is still a big boob in spandex and a codpiece.
... the manga isn't nearly this funny... >D
