Building 011 Doesn't Exist.

ickaimp-Especially not on a campus where all the buildings are lettered.
The first sign that attending Motorcycle Safety and Training class tonight should have been when I stopped by the Student Centre and the instructions given were: "See that guy running out the door? Follow him." followed by "I think it's by the tennis courts."
... Actually, the first sign should have been not finding it on a map, and getting confused looks from the passing students I asked. But that was the first big clue.
After losing running guy in the grey and black plaid, getting lost, meeting some people who knowelinor_dear, found running guy. Expressing confusion and concern, we ended up tracking down Campus Police, because Student Centre didn't know.
Campus Police made some phone calls, checked my receipt (which I had brought with) and the class information (from the website that I had e-mailed to myself), and got angry. Apparently there's an on-going conflict/lack of communication with the Motorcycle class and Security.
Went to the next closest building to where the most likely place for a class to go inside would be, the Fitness building. Asked people there, verified that nope, not there. Got to touch a Grecian Coin that was 2,500 years old that a teacher wore as a necklace. Athena had a sideways eye, and there was an owl on the back. Had an interesting feel to it.
Admin is called, they don't know what's going on either, the class -should- be at West Campus, on the off-chance that it's at the Community Centre, they are called, no answer. Directly calling the teacher leads to voicemail.
So after wandering around campus for about an hour with the awesomely cranky police woman, myself and the now-whinging running guy end up heading home, with the theoretical knowledge of where the class will be... 6:45 Saterday morning.
At least I hope so-? ^^;;
According to Sean, this is pretty typical for Pima. Over all, not how I would have spent my evening, but did have a bit of fun exploring. ^__^
