-Sorry, have the Happy Hardcore version of that song running through my head. #^^#

Impression of the movie walking out of the theatre: It's been out on the East Coast for two hours already! Where's the fic at?!
Oh gods, there's gonna be a tonne of Alice/Mad Hatter fics out there. Please don't make me write it, we've got enough stuff to finish...

Also funny as the movie starts with the overpowering 'Dolby Digital' stuff and some guy in the back shouts "What's that say?".
... He got some answers back...

Okay, in the movie she's 19. She's not a little girl and she's not-quite running away from a marriage proposal from a dickweed. 'Not-quite' it's because she's going 'OMG! Bunny! WTF?!' rather than 'OMG Marriage! Flee!!'.
That being said, there's a REASON for her "advanced" age, but will let y'all see it to find out. ^__^ Mwuahahahaa.

Strength of the movie is the visuals and the characters. There's some depth to the characters, some history, that I would love to see explored. Visually, I love the use of colours. The glints of teal on the Hatter and the Cheshire Cat especially. The seamlessness on the Red Queen's very large head is quite good.
Alice's colouration is also interesting to watch change, in very subtle ways. Also? Her CLOTHES! Thay are awesome!

Absolutely adore the use of 'I believe in as many as 6 impossible things before breakfast'.

Flat out, it's the first Burton Film since the Batmans and Nightmare Before Christmas that I've seen and not walked away disappointed. It's a fun movie.

Also? Alan Rickman as the Caterpillar. Spent part of the movie mentally sporfling over Professor Snape or Marvin the Paranoid Android as a squishy Potion Ingredient.

The only quibble I have against the movie is that sometimes the Mad Hatter comes off a little too Jack Sparrow-ish. It's a great deal more fun watching the Mad Hatter rather than being jerked sideways out of the movie going 'It's Capitan Jack in a Clown Costume!' He could have been a bit more crazy.
That being said, it only happens a few times and it's not hard to get back into the story. Such as Johnny Depp in a kilt.

Overall: Movie's about figuring out who you are, not a spastic drug trip. Well worth the movie ticket price. ^__^ (for the rest, apply fanfic)

[Edit: Aaaaaaaaaaaaand less than 12 since seeing the movie, We write FANFIC. ~_~ Making Hats.]
