Some of the stuff at the Art show. Flying Squids (none winged) and SteamPunk Guns. There are picture artwork too, both traditional, prints and 3D computer illustration.

Lotta Steampunk this year. Including one guy who has a modified nerf gun.

Talking to Paul Bradford from Ghost Hunters International. He makes most of his own equipment, which he also sells. "Ghost Hunting Equipment! It's Great!"

impfics: Also talking about a scientific thing that they like to do to scope out a place. Draw out a map of the place on a grid, then send people in one at a time to examine the rooms.
They mark on the maps where they picked up stuff, then share the information and only after everyone has gone through, so they're not feeding each other.
Then the tech guys go through and see if any of it is environmental.
impfics: ... They just commented that "Basically, they're playing around in the dark a lot."
*Silence*
*Laughter follows*
PhntQueen: Sounds like a reasonably scientific investigation.
impfics: Yup.
impfics: -story they just had here about a married couple in the house that were having problems. First it was just the wife who was seeing stuff and getting stuff, then the husband, a devout sceptic started seeing things.
impfics: They investigated and it turned out they lived under where 3 huge powerlines met in a junction. The ghost hunters equipment was going nuts.
Basically it boiled down to an extremely unhealthy place for them to be living.
impfics: But the fields might have been emphasising something that was already there, in their brains.


This is a puppet. Really. It's a (mostly innocent looking) Teddy Bear that one of the authors was carrying around.

Edit: During the warm-up for 'What's that Byte', they played 'Day-o'. The front row stood up and did the dance from Beetlejuice. >D Huzzah for Unplanned Choreographed Dancing!

*Front row starts singing 'Ironman'*
(After the second time, the host starts hitting his head on the podium.
After the third time, the assistant jumps up and venomously protests any further Iron Man Clips)

Sound Byte: "Come Back Here And Screw My Sister!"
*Back row on the other side simultaneously raise their hands*
