Failed Art Concept Design

My sense of humour sometimes is a little... strange. And as such, m'never quite sure if it pushes too far or not. Not a worry in fandom (ya pervs), but when I'm doing SCA artwork, I'm extremely grateful to being able to draw around the Southern Scriptorium group, to know if it goes to far or not while in the planning stages.

Such as this one, originally intended for the upcoming Tir Ysgithr Cookbook, but is not getting submitted:

Speaking of an animal's right to be delicious, have you heard about the whole Sea Kittens (http://www.peta.org/sea_kittens/) thing PETA is trying to push?

I lurve me some Sea Kitten Sandwiches, with Tartar sauce. ^____^

-and yeah. I haven't been able to track down who made the icon, but it was probably made at this site (http://www.bayeuxtapestry.org.uk/interactive/BayeuxCreate.htm).
... I just took a lovely photograph of a Gorgoneion that I want to use for SCA stuff, so debating swapping it out. #^^#
