... Okay, I know I do a lot of weird lateral thinking to find solutions to problems sometimes, but this one amuses me.

Problem:
Job site only accepts resume to be posted in *.doc format, then mangles formatting. Html building program mangles word formatting when turned into html and the job site will not accept it.

Options:
-Leave it be and let prospective employers flee at the mess. ;_;

-Spend a while going through and hand encoding everything into html, which we are suxx0r at.

-Upload resume.doc into ff.net's document manager, let their uber-stripping program remove excess word formatting, copy/paste the simple html into resume builder.

... Did the last one. Less than 10 minutes and the problem was solved! XD For once, ff.net was useful for something!

Hmmm. That's a good idea. I think I'll have to do that with my resume. It has had the misfortune of being switched from .doc to .odt when I switched to using OpenOffice.
