With it being Monsoon season, is about the only way the hair is currently staying off my neck. >P

-Thursday-
Took the entrance test for Tucson College. You have 12 minutes to answer 50 questions and you're graded on how many you answered correctly, not how many you answered.
Answered 45 questions in the allotted timeframe, and got 30 correct.
-Which really, isn't that great. 60% for all 50 questions and 66% for the 45 I did answer. That's, what? A 'D' if you're generous? I was rather annoyed at myself.
... And the ladies were complimenting me that I'd scored so high. Turns out? You need 15 to pass. *facepalm*
Still debating if I want to go there.

-Friday-
Happy Fourth to those that celebrate. We celebrated early with everyone because people had to go to work. Also? Ice Cream is Fun!. No, the pic isn't sideways.
Watching the dogs was... well... is there a word between 'Okay' and 'Clusterfuck'? Large dog afraid of loud noises during the 4th and a Thunderstorm. It was good and bad in shifts. Mostly good, but the bad was scaaaaary. ._. (I'm okay!)

-Saterday-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA! SOLITUDE!!! ISOLATION! AND NO WHERE TO GO!!! MINE ALL MINE! MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!
Oooooh, it's been soooooooooooooooo long. *luxuriates* Could use another 2 or 3 days like that.
Broke solitude to drag MOrgan-obachan for a walk and watch the clouds change colour. Then it pouuuuuuuuuuured. Dogs were calmer. \o/

-Sunday-
D&D. We had a dice fail day. For everyone. Summary of events thus far here, which doesn't include the stuff like the Wizard casting Magic Missile from behind a tree and having a 14% hit ratio and thereby cussing, the Rouge having a 'stabbity' fetish, my Warlord taking too much glee in telling the other fighters "Bitch! Go smack that Bitch up!" and them doing it (because Insert sucks during combat otherwise) and the Dwarf chase scene, which is still the funniest thing ever.
Also? Discovered that Insert has healing abilities because she's inspiring. Mwuahahaha.

And that's it from me for the moment. Apologies for not getting back to people, there's no net where I am and Xan's naps are getting shorter. @_@;;

Errr... Icka? Whyfor is there an SCA helm and sword in the living room? (and yes, I found the motion-activated singing frog that you had placed inside the helm to be very amusing as it belted out "Sittin' At The Dock In The Bay"... the first 6 or so times. After that, well, I'm sure you'll find where I hid the batteries eventually.)

It's a decent helm; looks to be mass-produced by a professional armorer, nice lobster-tail on the back (pretty good articulation) and a smooth weld on the top. New padding, too; needs strapping for the facegrill and chin, though. The sword's a home-made job and seems to have had new rattan and taping put on just recently, there're only a few pell-scars on it. So-- planning on taking up hardsuit? Nice balance on the sword, actually.

Heh; I did pretty much the same thing on Saturday, other than running some errands in the evening-- solitude, peace and quiet; needed it Big Time. And I sewed catnip mousies for a donation on livelongnmarry!! See? http://picasaweb.google.com/TheYsabet/UntitledAlbum/photo#5219808542826354210

Yes, there were many missing details, details I'm planning on including later. Mostly I just needed to get some of the rough events written down lest they be forgotten (they generally are) and fill in some of the gaps my lack of prep had made, such as the name of the tavern or the town or, well, anything before the adventure actually began. Not that I'm a perfectionist, nor am I my own worst critic.

Trust, though, that everyone is going to get some key moment that will get chronicaled. Oh, yes.

Once I'm gainfully employed (update pending) we're going to have to go get you some dice.
