Weekend Retort

Babysat Xan for the evening, (sketch totally related) tried a new pizza place, Hungry Howie's. Every tried ordering a pizza while holding a fussy baby? I don't recommend it.
However, the pizza was good. The crust is -fabulous- and it passed the 'eaten cold as breakfast' test, which is always nice. ^___^

Bra shopping, see previous post. Ran a bunch of errands, saw a waterballoon roll down the street infront of the car, got new shirts, watched the latest Naruto Movie, crashed over at Megs' house.
-Sunday-
OMG. Sunday. Went downtown with Megs to see if the Silver Sea was open, which it wasn't, but picked up shiny earrings and a necklace at Hydra next door. Bruise-green roses on black metal. Mwhahahahaha. Picked up some other stuff, including a couple of Nazar, which I seem to be collecting.
Had lunch for the first time at The Casbah Teahouse. Mmmmmm.... Middle Eastern atmosphere, vegetarian food and WONDERFUL Chai Tea. Lots of nummy ginger in it. *drooooooools* Em, when you come out, will have to drag you there. Freak gust of wind nearly blowing the canopy away was fun too.
Went with Megs to the plant and got a tour of the newspaper printing presses. I love those giant presses, worked for a short time at a place in NZ that printed magazines and they had them there. Sooo frikkin' cool.
Did a lot of walking around (think I did about 7-10 miles yesterday, nice to know I still can)
... Unfortunately, mis-read the bus schedule, which I thought had said the last bus left at 9:15. Nope. I had caught the last bus to the Safehouse, and then discovered I was kinda stranded. Whoops.
Fortunately! Was within walking distance of both MOrgan-obachan and Megs' house. They ended up deciding that they'd take a chainsaw and decide which boob each one got. Megs' wanted the smaller one cause it would make a better cat toy. o_O
-Ended up crashing at MOrgan's house last night, since she was just back from LepreCon.
Am very amused that in my backpack, it has become standard fare for me to carry in addition to deodorant, a toothbrush and paste, hair brush, shaving razor and clean underwear, just in case I do end up crashing some place overnight. #^^# Saves gas.
