Timing kills me

So... Was asked a while back to write for an original webcomic that a friend will draw (yes, am being purposely vague) and we have been working together on this off and on for several months.

Just got the main characters final designs done and are starting to finalize the timelines and the plot twists and I'm getting things line up in my head to start to write it down.

And I get a message from NaNoWriMo while we're hammering out details in chat saying, 'Hi! Did you know we do two events a year?'

Script Frenzy, write 100 pages of script in 30 days, 1-30 April.

Which includes scripts for graphic novels.

*head desk*

Hm. Wonder what I'm doing in April... -_-

It works for you...you're not trying to finish a (non-script) story in April.

Script Frenzy is helping me procrastinate!

(OK, OK, so is lgbtfest...and yeah, at least my I-should-be-writing procrastination is more writing, but still.)

Oh, and we'll all be bugging you for more previews of the project, of course.
