I know how you feel; I went through a year where I didn't write any original fiction. It was very bizarre, but there just wasn't any inspiration. I just couldn't think of anything to write that wasn't fanfiction of some sort. *shrug* So I didn't. I refined my essay-writing skills instead, I guess.
