For some reason, I got the idea that Honda, having noticed how he's kind of drifting away from Jou, would try to do something crazy to get the two of them closer again... like a tattoo or getting ears pierced or something like that. On the other hand, I don't really know Honda's character all that well, I only ever watched the dub, and that was years ago. By the way, great fic!
