Mokuba leaned back in his chair as he watched his brother leave. "Did you remember your holographic disks? I left the ones I upgrated for you on the dresser, did you grab them?"
"I got them." Seto waved it off. "I'll be back in a couple of hours. Don't get into too much trouble while I'm gone."
"Yeah, yeah. Have fun." Mokuba mock-grumbled as he turned his attention back towards the computer. He could operate several of the Kaitou Ryuu's holographic distractions from here, some that even 'Niisama didn't know about.
He was torn between mixed emotions about his brother's sudden night hobby. It was dangerous and if 'Niisama got caught, that would mean the end to everything. Kaiba Corp, their being able to stay together, everything.
On the other hand, it was good to see 'Niisama relax and have fun for a change. It was nice to see him smiling again. Even if the reason for it was dangerous.
But then, that's why Mokuba was there watching out for him. No one, absolutely no one was going to catch -his- brother.
Seto paused in the door way, giving Mokuba a strange look. "Mokuba?"
"Yes, Niisama?" He chirped, making sure the cartoons he had on the screen as cover for what he was really doing were visable.
Seto paused, giving him a serious look for a moment, then shaking his head. "Nothing. Nevermind. I'll see you later."
"Okay." Mokuba smiled innocently --he'd practiced the look in the mirror for hours to make sure he got it right-- and then looked back at the screen again.
He waited with baited breath as his brother watched him for a few more heartbeats, then left. Mokuba let the breath his was holding out in a whoosh. He waited a few moments longer before switching screens over on the laptop.
Kaitou Ryuu's cape could turn into a hangglider, which was well and good, but sometimes the wind wasn't always where it should be.
With a few clicks of a button, he went back to adding small jets to the gliders scematics. You never knew when an extra burst of speed would come in handy.
