Okay, it -looks- like we're gearing up for the next major story arc in The Grey Zone. So... question for y'all.
They're probably gonna be heading State-side (New York, Chicago, Vegas, Gotham City, etc) so are there any series you'd like to see crossed over with TGZ that take place in the States?
Or anywhere else for that matter? I'm still not sure where all they're going... ~_~

Gotham City! WAHOO! (Not that I like this idea or Batman.) Along that line, Metropolis (Superman).

Since people are focused on NYC, how about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Other ideas: The Simpsons, King of the Hill, or maybe, Gunsmith Cats?

Interesting.... in Shades of Grey, they were in Kaito's territory (did i use the right word?" in The Grey Zone, they are in Hakuba's. If they go to the states, they'll be in new territory for both of them. I'd say somewhere that is as different as Japan and UK as possible. Utah?

Bluffton. They'd go insane in this backwash town of mine....or maybe it would be the opposite, they'd make everyone in Bluffton go insane from not being used to anything bigger than 'OMG!!!111 Someone tipped over a cow!'

TMNT are a must... if that doesn't wierd one of them out, I have no clue what would. Personally, I'd be thrilled if Wonder Woman helped Kaito dispose of Sir. Stinky's stoney center once and for all. Not the old-school WW, the new one who does/deals with a million and two mystical things a comic year now. Noone even sells her comics in stores anymore! wahhh! If you ever managed to watch The Kids Next Door on cartoon network they would be great to work with... of course it'd be the one fic neither of our 2 fav characters would remember.
And just because I like the nostalgia of the old US roadways... trying to catch a Route 66 psycho. I can just see it now... someone sends a rude letter to a newpaper or police department about the loss of america's defining icons and announces their intention to rechristen Old Route 66 with 6 (or 66) bodies. Or even worse the first year will be 6 bodies and each year 10 more will be added until Route 66 is reinstated. *shivers* I don't know what characters would be able to hunt a killer who announces their intentions better! Especially if the person keeps stealing bodies to rechristen the Route with...

Sentinel! duh... I forgot about them two. You never know where the bodies could be stolen from... just as long as a really big media fuss would be made over the absent corpse so when it reappears the media would show up exactly where it was found!
Also, allowing the body to be embalmed will make sure the tissue stays intact and is less likely to be ravaged by pests, rodents and vultures.
but, a total side plunnie, couldn't you just see Kaito get tugged up on stage and then outshine the magician at a revue in Reno or Las Vegas? I'd love to see Kaito's respose to the Star Trek experience... snicker. Or the DooDah parade! yee gods... having them run across the wierdest of the wierd festivals in USA would just be viscious. But, I still want to try some of the garlic ice cream at that one CA festival!
One of the greatest things about the US is just how wierd we allow our freedom of expression to get... snicker.

i really like the idea of crossing over with fake. sounds to me like that could prove to be endlessly fun. not such a huge fan of the american cartoons/crossovers..but i suppose i'm just a bit biased.

anyhow. i love all your fics, and i'm sure whatever you do will be brilliant, as usual! i'm a complete kaito/saguru-shipper now, and i blame you. also blame you for introducing me to slash in general and turning me into a raving yaoi fangirl. but it's not a bad thing. in fact, thanks! hope new zealand is amazing. always wanted to go there.

If you are wandering out of the manga, they'll have to wander through Chicago. *snicker* Meander through Denver and drive Jack nuts.... be driven nuts in AZ... and be thoroughly amused by the Garlic Festival in Gilroy, CA.

Well other people have already suggested Gargoyles and because you mentioned Gotham City I now have the mental picture of Kid deciding to convince the Joker to check himself into an asylum.
I also have the mental image of them visiting New Mexico and getting lost in the miles of nothing around here. They stop and get out of the car and study the map for awhile before Kaito points and says,
"I think we should have made a left turn in Albuquerque."
I can't think of many series that I'm familiar with that are set in USA but I like the suggestion of them visiting some of the weird real life stuff in this country.
